Ioanna is a partner at LCI Law, engaged in transactional work and shipping dispute resolution (Greek and English law).
She worked for 6 years at G.E. Bairactaris & Partners, for 8 years at Roussos & Hadjidimitriou Law Offices, for a year at a leading Greek ship management company and for 12 years at the Piraeus office of Hill Dickinson (as a director there for the last 4 years), before joining LCI Law.
She advises shipowners and investors and is regularly involved in a wide range of Greek, UK and cross-border transactional work and shipping disputes. Her transactional practice includes advising on the sale and purchase of newbuilding and second-hand ships and yachts, shipbuilding contracts, pooling agreements, ship finance transactions, joint ventures, shareholders’ agreements, trading contracts and regulatory matters including GDPR and EU sanctions. Her shipping dispute practice encompasses ship sale and purchase disputes, enforcing foreign arbitration awards and court judgments in Greece and handling ship casualties in Greece.
