She has worked in the claims departments of Catlin Lloyd’s Syndicate and of a Greek-based ship management company, for 12 years at the Athens and Piraeus offices of Ince & Co and for 2 years at the Athens office of Watson Farley & Williams.
Anastasia advises clients in relation to shipping contract disputes (charterparties, bills of lading, ship sale contracts, shipbuilding contracts and bunker supply contracts) in London arbitration, the English High Court and alternative dispute resolution.
Acted in a case concerning fraudulent bills of lading where a worldwide freezing injunction was obtained for the vessel’s owners and handled the multi-jurisdictional aspects arising out of this.
