Our team has extensive experience both in court litigation and institutional and ad hoc arbitration and mediation. We pride ourselves on our innovative and strategic approach to dispute resolution, which is underpinned by our deep knowledge of the law and our commitment to delivering results that align with our clients' commercial objectives. Our goal is to help our clients achieve the best possible outcome in their disputes, whether that means settling the matter early on or proceeding through to final adjudication.

Our commercial and corporate dispute resolution expertise includes:

International Arbitration:

Our team's expertise in this area allows us effectively to represent our clients in complex cross-border disputes involving multiple jurisdictions, legal systems, and languages. Our arbitration practice covers a wide range of industries, including construction, energy, finance, intellectual property, and telecommunications. We offer our clients tailored advice on all aspects of the arbitration process, from drafting arbitration clauses in commercial contracts, to representing them in arbitrations, to enforcing and challenging arbitral awards.

We have extensive experience representing clients in mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution taking place in Greece, in the U.K. or elsewhere. Our lawyers are highly skilled at negotiating and resolving disputes in that forum, and more generally.

Contractual Disputes:

Our team has extensive experience successfully representing clients in a wide range of commercial disputes arising or related to breaches of contract, including alleged wrongful termination of distribution, agency and/or franchise agreements. Most of the cases we handle involve a choice of law clause and we are very familiar with the intricacies of invoking the application of Dutch, English, German, French or other foreign law in the Greek context.

Construction Disputes:

With a strong track record of successfully handling construction disputes, we work closely with the client to develop a strategy tailored to the specific needs and circumstances. We have handled a wide range of disputes, including construction defects, payment disputes, delay disputes and disputes related to insurance.

Intellectual Property Protection:

We advise and represent clients in matters related to the protection of their intellectual property rights in the global marketplace, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. We also assist with the registration and enforcement of these rights in foreign jurisdictions and in handling opposition and challenges before the competent authorities.

Corporate Disputes:

Our team has extensive experience advising clients on a range of corporate governance matters, including shareholder disputes, director and officer liability, business torts and partnership disputes.

Product Liability:

We have represented clients across a broad range of industries, including automotive, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, medical devices, and cosmetics. Our team works closely with the leading experts in the relevant fields to navigate the complexities of each case and formulate the best strategy to serve the client’s needs.

Restructuring and Insolvency:

Our team of lawyers are well-versed in all aspects of insolvency and restructuring litigation, including bankruptcy proceedings, liquidations, reorganizations, debt restructurings and distressed asset sales.
