The opening of the London office reflects the strategic importance of London, a commercial, shipping and insurance hub, to the firm's business.
The London office is headed by David Morriss, a shipping and commodities partner who has a wealth of experience, having practiced for 24 years at the London office of a well-known international law firm, where he was a partner for the last 13 years. David handles all types of disputes under charterparties, vessel pooling agreements, contracts of affreightment, bills of lading, shipbuilding and repair contracts, sale and purchase (MOA) contracts, insurance policies, and cargo sale/purchase contracts. He has also handled broader commercial disputes in areas such as mining, banking, and Formula 1 sponsorship, and he regularly assists clients with non-contentious contract-drafting. In London, David runs arbitrations and regularly appears before the courts of England and Wales.
LCI Law‘s ‘deep knowledge and expertise’ covers cargo sale contracts, international sanctions and marine insurance disputes, as well as non-contentious work. Managing Partner Antonis Lagadianos‘s 30 years of experience has led to a broad client base including P&I clubs and leading ship owners.
