Associate Solicitor (England & Wales) – Shipping Litigation

LCI Law (in collaboration with Stream) is a specialist boutique firm with an international reach that is at the heart of the shipping and international trade world. Established by senior partners from international law firms, and with offices in London, Athens and France practicing English, Greek and French commercial and shipping law, we are seeking a talented and driven associate England & Wales solicitor with 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience to join our busy and growing English-law shipping litigation team.

The Role

You will be working closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of complex, high-value disputes involving:

• Shipping contracts, including charterparty, bill of lading, shipbuilding, MOA, and cargo sale contract claims
• Shipping casualties, such as collisions and groundings
• Commercial arbitration and High Court litigation

You will advise a global client base including shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, H&M insurers, and cargo traders, and play an active role in managing cases from inception to resolution.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3–6 years’ experience in shipping litigation
• Solid grounding in contractual disputes and casualty work, ideally from a leading shipping practice
• Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work well in a close-knit team
• Commercial awareness and a commitment to excellent client service
